Meet your teacher
I fell in love with music at age 3. My mom put me in piano lessons — honestly, I didn’t love them at first. Then I picked up guitar at 13 and everything clicked. Music built my confidence and opened doors I never expected.
Now, with more than 30 years of playing and 25 years of teaching, I want every student to have that same spark. Lessons here are fun, creative and encouraging — and yes, I hold high standards, because the moment a song really clicks is worth it.
How it works
Tell me a little about the student and what they want to play. We’ll find a time that fits your family.
We meet at the Gilbert studio, pick the right instrument and pace, and start making music right away.
A modern, tech-friendly approach and flexible scheduling keep practice at home fun instead of a chore.
Kind words
My son looks forward to and enjoys his lessons with Jimmi each week — and he’s a high-energy kid who complains about anything “boring.” Neither of those describe Jimmi! He is amazing with kids, holds high standards, and I’ve seen a huge improvement in my son’s musicality and confidence.
We absolutely love Jimmi T! He has such an amazing approach to teaching music that keeps my daughter interested and challenged. She looks forward to her lessons. His years of experience show in the diversity of music and instruments he teaches.
